Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

My mother said that last year he tried to apply for a car insurance but he did not satisfied on the service of the company he found. She then asked how could we really find and auto insurance comparison. Then she said that after the contact has expired she never tried to apply again because she is in trauma to be have mistake again in looking for a company. Then I proud to say to her that the company I know offers the best and the most convenient auto insurance. I also told her she can find the cheapest but she don’t need to waste her time to do so because she can find it online and she can apply for this very easy application at the convenient of our own home.
I told her that this is really sure and I could say this in the name of anybody because it is proven by myself. It is really good, their service is unique and very good. Then she said that she will trust me and she applied for it.

More Peace of Mind

My wife and I bought our cars on the same day so we renew our car insurance yearly on the same day as well. I was aware that car insurance policy is getting more costly each year so we need to compare quotes first before we sign up for another year of coverage. Just recently, when we requested for a quote online we were not asked to give out our personal information and that was great. We are both skeptical in giving out our pertinent information as much as we can. Two of our laptops were infected by a strong virus because we participated in a survey about election. We gave out our name, address and other information and it was a bad move. So this time getting a car insurance quote without personal information require is a relief on our part. Now we can compare quotes without worrying that our information can be used by hackers or identity thieves.

Got the Deal

Last year, when I requested for a car insurance quote from one of the car insurance companies online, I was required to fill in the information box before I can be sent a quote.  I did not do it that time. I never give our my information  not unless I do shopping or banking online. But requesting a quote is out of the question. I can request a quote from somewhere else without giving my information. I am  much too careful in giving out my personal information since my name  was once been used in making purchase transaction without my knowledge. But this year, when I check recently, I found out that there are car insurance companies that offers  auto insurance quote without personal information taken from the you. That was a huge change and a better one. So I got the quote I need and I signed up for another year of car insurance from the same company online.

Speed of Light

When my partner and I  have decided to live in together, there were some house rules made before he transferred in my apartment. He can use all the facilities in the house except for  the remote control of the TV. He on the other hand requested that I switch from my dial up connection to hughes net internet. He works in a magazine company and he needed to be updated with the news all the time, he also do some writing jobs so a fast internet access is a must for his work. He is also a huge computer gamer. And my dial up connection is not be good enough for him. So a few days before he moved in, I signed up for Hughes internet. At first, I thought the application process is complicated and the cost will be expensive. But I was wrong. Applying for a Hughes satellite internet was a breeze, the monthly subscription was very reasonable as well. On the day that the internet connection was hooked up in our desktop computer, I was surprised on the incredible speed of our internet. Since he has laptop, we got a wireless router so he can work in any part of the house. Now logging online have never been this fun with the kind of speed we have.

Better Choice

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Early last year, when I received my first salary increase, I bough something special for my family. For my two sons in high school, I bought them each an XPS laptops from one of the top computer manufacturer in the US. For my husband who is still young at heart, I bought him the latest play station game set. They deserve it. I on the other hand, bought a nice diamond necklace which I only wear when there is a special celebration. But one fateful night when we were away watching a circus show, somebody or a number of intruders managed to break in inside our house and took all our most valuable possessions including my presents to my family and my expensive necklace in my room.  The lose was painful enough but what was more aggravating was  the thought that we invested in an expensive alarm system which the intruders managed to disarm that night. So the very next day, I heed on the advice of my cousin and got the Charlotte ADT. We have been subscribed to the ADT security for almost tow years now but we never had any intruders getting inside our house. There are a number of attempts to break in our house but the monitoring center that operates 24/7  was very fast in doing an action to prevent the intrusion.

Valued People

They say that you will not realize the value of something until it was gone. Sad but true, we often miss to appreciate the importance of someone when they are still with us. Good thing, I realize it before it was too late. I am a single parent and I have a full time job in the city. My sister who was an undergraduate takes care of my child while I am away. At work, I could always hear some of my colleagues who has children and their spouses are also working, complaining about the cost of getting a nanny and the risk of getting someone looking over your precious children. Nanny’s are usually paid per visit and getting a full time one is very costly but you do not have a choice. My sister on the other hand, works fulls time and has an unconditionally love for my son. I just give him a fraction on what I am earning.

Biting Hard

When we heard the news that our major client is no longer going to extend its contract with us, we all begun to panic. If our major client will go away, that would mean huge lose of revenue for our company and we needed to lay off some employees who are taking the account. Employees that are bread winners in their family, employees that had been with the company when the account started, employees that have been with us for the last five years. But business is business and if we do not make corrective measures, we will end up running out of business as well.  Separation pay will help the employees make it until they  find another job but they need to find one urgently least they will be in a very uncomfortable situation. But that’s the way it is, they should have saved while they are with us. We could now feel the teeth of recession.

Beauty Inside

I work  as a  phone sales representative, taking orders from customers all over the US.  We sell male enhancement pills.  After taking thousands of call since I started out, I realize that men would like to enhance their natural potential  for various reasons. Either just for their self esteem or for their loved ones or partners in life. They wanted to satisfy their need and make the most out of it. Many have tried it and many wants to try it.  There’s nothing wrong in aiming for something bigger and better. Now we even have the women’s version. And I already received a huge number of calls from women ordering the product.

It Runs in the Blood

Monday, August 24th, 2009

I want to tell a tragic story about my cousin not to make the readers fell bad but to make them aware of their health. My cousin loves sweets. Name it, cakes, candy canes, soft drinks, desserts and just about anything that has sugar on it. No wonder he developed diabetes. He took  insulin to control his sugar level. But his sweet tooth can’t stop it’s indulgence. Sugar free cakes do not satisfy him the way real caramel does. And he just can’t stop, he just increase the insulin he takes. One day, he had a pedicure. The attendant doing his nails accidentally pricked a small part of his big toe. A small wound that can not be even seen with the naked eye. It was like needle mark. But his blood was too thick with sugar and the  wound that started as small as a needle mark resulted in the amputation of both of his legs and gradually caused his death. Diabetes is a no joke disease, treatment is usually   lifetime.   Learn how to combat it at an early stage.

Family Bonding

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

I lived in a relatively liberated household. My parents sends us three siblings to school, provide with all our basic and secondary needs and when we got a stable job, we moved out of our house and have our own place.  No strings attached. I love my family but I can live  miles away from them without feeling empty. Partly because we were raised to be independent and be strong willed persons. Soon we will have a family of our own and our children will stay with us until they can make it on their own. It’s the circle of life. Then I met the man I want to live with for the rest of my life. He was incredibly attached with his family. Their home has four rooms but all of them, the father, the mother and the six siblings of my man sleeps in one room. They acquire comfort from each other. A decision will not be final unless all of them agreed on it. It was very different from the culture I was used to. At first I was irritated on their nature but then I realize, I envy them.
