Early last year, when I received my first salary increase, I bough something special for my family. I lived in a relatively liberated household. My parents sends us three siblings to school, provide with all our basic and secondary needs and when we got a stable job, we moved out of our house and have our own place.  No strings attached. I love my family but I can live  miles away from them without feeling empty. Partly because we were raised to be independent and be strong willed persons. Soon we will have a family of our own and our children will stay with us until they can make it on their own. It’s the circle of life. Then I met the man I want to live with for the rest of my life. He was incredibly attached with his family. Their home has four rooms but all of them, the father, the mother and the six siblings of my man sleeps in one room. They acquire comfort from each other. A decision will not be final unless all of them agreed on it. It was very different from the culture I was used to. At first I was irritated on their nature but then I realize, I envy them.
